Job Role:

Elizabethan Security Guarding Limited looking for a Business Development Manager to overlook all aspects of our security operations and provide diligent and exceptional service to all our clients. 

It is your responsibility for the efficient and effective management of operations. You must show professionalism in your dealings with all clients, whilst ensuring all our security services are provided in place at a quality standard. 

We expect you to be skilled at surveillance and emergency response. You must be committed to security rules and be aware of all hazards and threats to safety. Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement security policies and procedures, therefore you must also be a good leader.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with senior management to determine the range of security services offered, such as manned guarding, mobile patrols, event security, and CCTV monitoring.
  • Contributes to sales strategy development and setting sales targets. Engages with clients to assess requirements, conducts site surveys, and analyses feedback on service quality, pricing, and contract terms. 
  • Compiles and reviews sales data, prepares proposals for marketing campaigns and client retention initiatives, and undertakes market research. 
  • Manages key customer accounts, ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and compliance with SIA regulations. 
  • Recruits, trains, and mentors junior sales staff. 
  • Produces reports and recommendations on market positioning, competitor activity, and emerging security trends. 
  • Keeps up to date with industry developments, competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and security technology innovations to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV),
  • Reporting and emergency response planning experience,
  • Outstanding understanding of security protocols and procedures. 
  • Knowledge of budgeting and statistical data analysis,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities. 
  • Committed and trustworthy character, 
  • A degree is required and additional education in project management or a related field would be advantageous.

Hierarchy Rank: 2nd. They will report to the Managing Director. 

Salary: £40000.00 per annum 

Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
